Do you actually need a a newborn session? Let’s dive into it!

1. Your baby is only little this once.
   • You can’t get this time back where your baby is at this stage at this time in their life. They are only this little right now. The first year of their life truly does go by quickly and you are going to want photos to remember how little they are.
2. For future you and your baby once they grow up.
   • Your sweet baby will one day become an adult (&maybe a parent themselves) and they are going to want baby photos. Do you remember looking back at your baby photos with your family? Or maybe you don’t have any to look back on but you wish you did. Now that I have children of my own we looked for photos because we wanted to compare my husband and I’s baby photos to our boys. These are the memories that we cherish and wouldn’t have been able to do if we didn’t have newborn photos.
3. You will never look back and say, “I regret getting newborn photos done”.
   • Instead you are going to look back at newborn images reminiscing thinking “I miss my baby when they were this little” or “Can we go back in time when they were this small?” You can’t get this time back. This season of life that you are in is so fleeting and even though it may not feel like it at this moment in time you are going to want professional photos to give you memories that will last you a lifetime.
4. Bonus Tip – The newborn stage can go by so quickly and sometimes feel like a blur.
   • Having a newborn session allows you to slow down for a moment and really take in this season of life you are in right now. It allows you to soak in the newborn bliss of being so tired but so unbelievably in love at the same time with the tiny human you created.

Don’t wait to book your newborn session. The best time to get photos done of your baby is within the first 3 weeks of their life. If you are pregnant or in the early stages of having a newborn this is your sign to schedule your newborn session. Get those sweet memories captured by a professional for them to look back on one day. It will be worth the investment to have these memories for a lifetime.
