When I say wedding day details box, I mean all the little details you put so much time into planning for your wedding day. I have all my couples gather these things for me to photograph so that I am able to really help showcase all the planning you put into your wedding day.
When you flip through your wedding album, I want you to remember these little details that took so much time planning. Just imagine the personal vows that took you so much time to write and craft, the handkerchief that was your great grandmothers, the custom ring box you got to match your day, and so so much more!
All these little details truly help guide the story of your day and that is why I have my couples make a wedding day details bag or box for me!
Now you might be thinking what do I include in my wedding day details box?? That is what I am here for…I am here to help youuuu!
Items to include in your details box:
- The Rings (both of your wedding bands and your engagement ring)
- Jewelry (necklace, bracelet, earrings, other rings, hair piece, etc. that you plan on wearing)
- Perfume/Cologne
- Invitation Suite (All the piece of your invitation – bonus points if you include multiple sets of it!)
- Bride & Groom Shoes
- Both of Your Vow Books
- Letter to Bride/Groom
- Tie/Bowtie
- The Boutonneires
- The Bouquet
- Extra flowers (I highly recommend asking your florist to include any extra flowers/greenery that can be used to help elevate your details photos!)
- Watch
- Tie Clip/Cufflinks
- Dress and Veil (Put this next to your wedding box in the getting ready space)
- Any other memorable family heirlooms that you want photographed
Tip: I recommend to screenshot this list and then pack your details box a day or two before your wedding day. This will help so that you aren’t scrambling to find all the details the morning of. Then just have the box next to your dress and veil ready to go for when I arrive!
